CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

Yoga 1  

This is a basic Hatha yoga class with work on poses and pranayama breath work. Start class with gentle breathing and centering and work through poses to energize your body while calming your mind. This class ends with a shavasana to make your entire week. "I have learned how to do yoga here in class and take the lessons with me for use in my everyday." Basic to Beginning yoga class. This is a great class for all levels.

Yoga 2

Intermediate Hatha Yoga class taught with gentle vinyasa flow.  Students practice poses for strength, balance and relaxation.  Leave this class with a sense of energy and calm. "I've been coming to class for years and I learn something new all the time.  I won't give up my yoga . Yoga is my time and I truly enjoy it."

All Levels Yoga

Hatha yoga class suitable for all fitness levels. 

Senior Chair Yoga

Gentle Chair yoga using chairs to practice, no floor work.  Students work on balance,range of motion and relaxation techniques to help sleep and pain reduction.  Classes held at Taylor County Commission on Aging in the multipurpose building. "I feel so good after class and I'm getting stronger. Now I can stand in Warrior pose without my chair."

Happy Hour Yoga

45 minute yoga class.  This can be different styles of yoga taught by one of our teachers.  Come and enjoy.

Small Group Private Yoga  

One-on-one and small group yoga by appointment. These classes can be tailored as a yoga therapy session for injures and special needs or a training session for athletes.
